What platforms does Race Chief AI run on?+
Race Chief AI is available on iOS (iPhone & iPad), Android, macOS, and Windows. One subscription works across all your devices.
How does the 7-day free trial work?+
Every new account gets full Elite tier access for 7 days — no credit card required. After your trial ends you can choose any paid plan, or your account moves to the free tier with limited access.
How do I add my crew to the app?+
Go to the Team tab (desktop) or Team screen (mobile) and enter your crew member's email. They'll receive an invite email with a link to create their account. Basic and Pro plans support up to 5 seats; Elite supports up to 15.
Can multiple crew members use the app at the same time?+
Yes. Each team member has their own account. The tire man can enter hot pressures from their phone while the engineer updates shock settings from theirs — everything syncs to the same session.
What is the Virtual Crew Chief and which plans include it?+
The Virtual Crew Chief is an AI powered by Google Gemini that reads your lap times, setup sheet, tire temperatures, and weather to give you precise, mechanical setup recommendations. It's available on Pro and Elite plans.
Does the AI have access to my setup history?+
Yes. Every chat automatically includes your current session's lap data, setup sheet, tire temps, weather, and your driver profile preferences. It also references your previous sessions at the same track for context.
How does live lap timing work?+
On desktop, Race Chief AI connects to your track's RMonitor timing system over your local network and syncs laps automatically. On mobile, you can tap a button to record each lap manually, or sync from the desktop if both are on the same network.
What racing series does Race Chief AI support?+
Race Chief AI is built for short track oval racing: Late Model Stock Cars (LMSC), Super Late Models (SLM), Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Sprint Cars. The AI knows NASCAR LMSC and SLM technical regulations for compliance checks.
How do I cancel my subscription?+
On iOS or Android, cancel through your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings. On desktop (Mac or Windows), go to Settings → Subscription → Manage Billing, or contact support@racechiefai.racing.
Is my race data private?+
Yes. Your data is scoped to your team and never shared with other teams or third parties for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
